Matt began his training at Toronto's Second City, Impatient Theatre co and later migrated south like the majestic Canadian geese to study at Annoyance theatre(Chicago) and IO theatre (Chicago)with such improv super stars like Mick Napier, Susan Messing, Jet Eveleth, Joe Bill & Mark Sutton.

Matt also has performed with Ghost Jail Theatre, BadDog Theatre Company ,Laugh Sabbath. He has also been a part of the Chicago Improv Festival, The Del Close Marathon is New York ,The Vancouver International Improv Festival, The Ottawa Improv Festival and The Out of Bounds Comedy festival in Austin Texas. Matt is an improv instructor with Impatient Theatre and Second City and when he's not improvising he's making that loot as a voice actor.
