Maria began improvising in 2008, completing the Foundation program at Bad Dog Theatre, and performing regularly in Bad Dog’s Macro Neato and Next Big Thing. She has trained at ITC with Kevin Patrick Robbins, Annie Banks, Sean Magee, Jess Grant and Matt Folliott, completing the Summer Intensive in 2010. Some of her other all-time favourite instructors include James Gangl, Rob Norman, Kate Ashby, Susan Messing and Bruce Hunter.

Maria secretly wishes that she could become Wonder Woman by spinning in a circle.
