Isaac Kessler

Isaac's improv mind was officially blown when he partook in classes at the Impatient Theatre Co. At the ITC, he has studied under Carrie Barrett and Bill Arnett (iO Chicago), Porter Mason (UCB NY), Craig Cackowski (iO West), Armando Diaz (Magnet Theater), Rich Talarico, and artistic director Kevin Patrick Robbins.

Isaac's theatrical journey began at the Second City with Kate Ashby, and culminated with his graduation from the Second City Conservatory program. He has also trained at the Bad Dog Theatre under David Shore and Lisa Merchant.

2008 was a big year for Isaac as it saw him perform with his sketch troupe Toronto On Top in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the world's third largest comedy festival. In the summer, Isaac attended the Annoyance Theater in Chicago and learned from Susan Messing, Rich Sohn, Rebecca Sohn, Mark Sutton, and Mick Napier.

Isaac currently performs with ITC Harold team Standards+Practices and also with the Bad Dog Theatre Harold team Away from the Numbers. You can talk to Isaac about anything, especially animals, computers, Australia/New Zealand, Enya, and life.
