Amanda Petryschuk

Amanda joined the Impatient Theatre Company in February 2010. She quickly fell in love with her first exposure to longform improvisation, and has since been lucky enough to learn from such luminaries as ITC director Kevin Patrick Robbins, genius teachers/coaches Jess Grant and Kevin Whalen, and has workshopped with the likes of Toronto genius Matt Folliott, iO Chicago musical director Dave Asher, and Vancouver mainstay Taz Van Rassel. Her training has included classes with Bad Dog Theatre and Second City Toronto.

She currently performs with ITC team The Drop. She is a cast member of The Mosaic and an alumna of teams Shades of Earth, Three Note Oddity, The Watchers, Big Chicken Dinner, and Canadian Tuxedo. She also currently performs regularly with POMP and Brainiac Five.

You can catch her experimenting on stage with rhythm, song, wordplay, and life lessons at various locations around Toronto. She makes no apologies for any enlightenment you may experience, nor any puns you may be forced to hear. And yes, her current profile photo was self-taken in the style of a 16-year-old user of MySpace. She needs new headshots.
