Festival Info / Volunteer

The festival is be looking for volunteers to help with the production of its eighth annual festival. To apply for a volunteer position, please read this page in its entirety and email us at info@torontoimprovfestival.ca.

Volunteers will be scheduled to work in conjunction with the festival producers to assist in the planning, promotion and presentation of the festival and its events. This may include flyering, postering, ushering, hosting, box office and hospitality along with many other tasks.

Festival volunteers will have full access to festival shows and events. Positions will be made available to people both living in the GTA and to those traveling to the festival from out of town.

Volunteer Training

The festival staff, which also works on a volunteer basis, will provide you with the training you need to help with the associated tasks. There will be scheduled meetings leading up to and throughout the festival.

Applying to be an Volunteer

If you wish to be a volunteer, send an email outlining the areas in which you would like to help out with some background information on yourself, explain why you feel you would make an "awesome" volunteer. Please include any special skills or assets you might have, such as carpentry, graphic design, have car and licence, etc.
